On Origin click on the gear icon when selecting the game from your library and click the “Repair” button. On Steam you can do this by right-clicking on Apex Legends, go to “Properties”, “Local Files”, and then click on “Verify integrity of the game files”. If this still hasn’t solved the issue after a few tries, you may need to repair your game files. You can try doing this a few times if it doesn’t work the first. Then, restart your chosen platform and the download should restart, and it’ll hopefully fix the issue. You can open Task Manager by hitting Esc, Shift & Ctrl, or by searching for it on your start menu. You can do this by closing Steam/Origin, opening Task Manager and clicking “End Task” to close them manually.
